Why should I use a Virtual Assistant?
Working with a virtual assistant is a cost effective solution which provides you with the support you need. There are no lengthy recruitment processes, logistical problems or agency fees. As we are not an employee of your company, you do not pay National Insurance contributions, pension contributions, holiday pay or sick pay. How will VA Business Solutions be able to help me?
We will save you time and money by completing the tasks that take up too much of your valuable time so that you can concentrate on your business and the things you would prefer to be doing. You only pay for the time you have used; our rates are very reasonable and can be less than half the cost of employing a Personal Assistant. What hours do you work?
We operate flexible office hours in order to meet the demands of our clients.
What locations do you cover?
We are based in Rochdale, Lancashire but due to the nature of our work we are able to accept work from people based throughout the UK.
How will work be communicated?
Work can be exchanged via email, fax and post. We have made the decision not to use online project management software as we are of the opinion that this could compromise confidentiality and data control.
Can you deliver and/or collect work from us?
We can deliver/collect work within a 25 mile radius of Rochdale, however, a small charge may be made.
How do you ensure confidentiality?
We are used to working for organisations where confidentiality is of paramount importance so you are assured of complete confidentiality and we are happy to sign a confidentiality agreement, if necessary.
What controls are in place to ensure work is completed to my requirements?
Prior to the commencement of work a project plan would be drawn up and an official quotation provided. We also hold regular review meetings with all our clients and can provide interim progress reports for the larger projects.
What if I find errors in my work?
The client is responsible for final proofreading. Any errors will be rectified free of charge if we are notified within 5 working days of you receiving the work.
Can you provide on-site support?
We offer a local support package to businesses based within Greater Manchester, Lancashire and West Yorkshire. See services for further information.
Can you work for me on a regular basis?
VA Business Solutions can work for you on an hourly basis as and when you need, or regularly each week/month; depending on your needs.
Do you complete short notice tasks?
Yes we can complete short notice tasks and if we can’t meet your deadline we will let you know. We work flexibly and will always try to help you on your short term, urgent tasks.
How many hours must I sign up for?
There is no obligation to sign up for a particular number of hours. However, we do have pre-paid packages available that offer a sliding scale of rates, depending on the number of hours purchased.
How much do you charge?
All work is charged for in 15 minute intervals and each project will be quoted for prior to commencement. However, please see our pricing & terms for a guide to our charges.
How do you accept payment?
Payment by BACS is the preferred method of payment but we will also accept payments through PayPal or by cheque.
